Come and join Luke Thompson, one of our excellent teachers, a fantastic stand-up comic and very successful podcaster, (1.8 million subscribers!) for what will be a fun evening of Scary Stories & Unexplained Mysteries !
Do ghosts exist only in our imagination, or could there be something more? Can the dead really communicate with us from beyond the grave? Are strange coincidences simply a matter of chance, or could they have a deeper meaning?
Enjoy an evening of mysterious, fascinating and supposedly true stories of paranormal experiences from around the world. Listen to the stories, explore the mysteries and decide for yourself what to believe.
The event will be live-recorded for Luke's English Podcast.
What are Talks in English?
Talks in English are an opportunity for subject specialists to talk about their area of expertise with British Council students, staff and the wider public. The talks are a platform for participants to interact in English. Refreshments are served afterwards to facilitate networking.
